Tom Rademacher
President, FCI North
Tom Rademacher, President of FCI North,
has 20 years experience in construction,
specializing in structures and highway projects
in California. He began his career working
as a Superintendent on many Caltrans contracts,
became a Structures Manager, and finally
Vice President of Operations for FCI Constructors.
When FCI became the managing partner of
the joint venture that designed and built
the $780 million Eastern Toll Road, Tom
joined the team as Construction Manager.
He oversaw the construction of this 28-mile
toll road that includes 69 bridges, 3 tunnels,
10 toll plazas, and 9 interchanges. Significantly,
the project was completed more than a year
ahead of schedule.
Seeking another challenge, Mr. Rademacher
moved to Northern California when FCI Constructors
decided to expand its operations within
the state. He now is President of FCI North
and actively oversees a variety of challenging
projects. As a member of the HBG Flatiron
led joint venture, he is participating in
the construction of the new Carquinez Suspension
Bridge and the just completed seismic retrofit
of the Benicia-Martinez Bridge.
