FCI Constructors, Inc. is the California subsidiary
of HBG Constructors. Founded in 1991, FCI Constructors
performs design/build and construction services
for transportation projects in California, specializing
in highways, structures and light rail transit.
Headquartered in Vista, California, FCI Constructors,
Inc. Southern Division works on high profile transportation
projects including some that are joint ventures
within the HBG organization. FCI South's market
focuses on Southern California, extending from
San Diego to north of Los Angeles.
FCI South served as the managing partner of joint
venture for the design/build of the Eastern
Toll Road in Orange County, a $780 million
project. FCI South is currently working with managing
partner HBG Flatiron on the Foothill
Toll Road-South, a $644 million project that
is in the design phase.
In addition to the design/build work, FCI South
recently provided construction services on five
projects along the Interstate
5 corridor, a total of six highway miles;
recently completed the 125/94
Interchange in Lemon Grove, California; and
was awarded two contracts on the Route 210 Foothill
Freeway Gap Closure project in Los Angeles County.
Previously, FCI South worked on San Diego's
Light Rail Trolley Extension, constructing over
three miles of light rail line and stations as
part of the Mission
Valley West Extension.
