Bud Tolp: Estimating Manager at FCI North
FCI North's estimating manager grew up near Chicago in a family that owned a crane rental and rigging company. "My dad made sure I got the crummiest summer jobs possible as an oiler and later as an operator so it would encourage me to go to college," recalls Bud, chuckling. It worked. Bud
graduated from Arizona State University in 1980 with a B. S. in construction engineering.
Joining FCI in August 2001, Bud is enjoying being in a relatively new company with a more dynamic energy than an old-line one. He also likes the cross fertilization of good ideas that comes from working with people from diverse backgrounds in the industry. Bud and his new wife Judy live in San Mateo with Bud's son Justin (9) and daughter Brianne (13).
