Project Overview:
HBG Flatiron
is the managing partner of Saddleback Constructors, the joint
venture designing and building the Foothill Transportation
Corridor-South (FTC-South). This new 16 mile four-to-six lane,
limited access toll road will extend the Foothill Corridor
from Oso Parkway south to Interstate 5 in the San Clement
area.
This $644 million design/build contract with the Transportation
Corridor Agencies (TCA) is being delivered in 3 phases. Phase
1 includes the preliminary design necessary to complete the
environmental review process, including procuring permits.
Phases 2 and 3 consist of final design and construction activities
targeted to begin in 2004. The FTC-South is the final segment
of the TCA's 67-mile public toll road network and will complete
Orange County's regional highway system.
