Carquinez Suspension Bridge

| The new towers reach over 100 feet above the
existing bridges. The site for the new bridge is in the northwestern
most part of the "East Bay", where the Sacramento River
meets San Pablo Bay, on the Carquinez Strait, 25 miles from San
Francisco. |
